Tender springs
I think I’m going to get new stiffer tender springs for my coilovers 5k (308#) and 7k (392#)springs with 2.8k (150#) tenders all around. this setup is a little stiffer than the PSS9 setup, and is valves as such. Anyone have good suggestions for tenders?
The front feels decent as in I have a good balance of comfort and performance. The rear I feel could use a little more (cushion), over large transitions in the highway I feel like there is a harsh transition and the tender doesn’t do enough. My 996 runs 150/250 tenders on 1000/1250 springs. The 986 is about 600# lighter than the 996 so I’m afraid to just to 250 in the rear. I’m also not trying to chase perfection and buy a ton of different tenders. I think my goal is to get my tenders to provide a little more block height (if I’m using this term correctly) and run tender rates around 175/200. The 986 sport suspension option has spring rates of 171/210. Current specs from Ceika (think BC coilovers). Also considering getting new springs as w Front 160mm(6.2inches) -5kg ID: 62.5mm~73.5mm~62.5mm OD: 82.5mm~93.5mm~82.5mm Rear 160mm(6.2inches) -7kg ID: 62.5mm~82mm~62.5mm OD: 86.5mm~106mm~86.5mm Appreciate your thoughts and experience.
