Rear Brake Block "Connecting Piece" - Anyone have a spare?

Posted this on RL, figured I'd try here too.

I found a brake fluid leak on my 1997 Spec Boxster race car from this brake block which is located on the driver's side of the car, under the plastic undertray. Upon investigation I found that the brake block is cracked (see photo). Porsche calls this a "connecting piece".

I tried to order a new one, but unfortunately this part is NLA from Porsche.

Does anyone have a spare one (or a parts car you can remove it from) that you can sell me?

It has to be the type with 1 line in, and 2 lines out. The cars with PSM were different had 2 in/2 out block which is not what I have.
Porsche P/N is 996-355-660-04 which was superseded to 05, then to 06, however the P/N is not stamped on the one I have.

Thanks in advance.

It's likely that I have one. I'll dig around on Tuesday and see what I find.

Let me know where to ship it and I'll mail it out. If you want to pay, $10 to https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/JonCarparts should cover it. There's a little bit of corrosion visible inside. I don't know if that will have any effect on it, but you may want to do an ultrasonic cleaning before installing it. I'll probably fill a USPS Small Flat Rate box. If there's any small Boxster nuts/bolts/plastic thingies that could be useful, let me know and I'll add them if I have them. I'm in the middle of clearing out extra junk from my garage.

Thanks I Paypal'd you and put my shipping address in the Paypal notes.

If it's not too much trouble to ship I would take the brake line from this block up to the junction box in the LF wheel well, as well as the blue clutch line from this area up to the LF wheel well also, if you have in good condition. Let me know on price there if you have them.

Thanks a TON!

^^Thanks to Jon for getting this to me. Arrived last Thursday! So crazy how hard this little part is to find.

Same issue here. Replaced all the rear hard lines from the distribution block to both rear wheels and the Connection Piece is cracked in the same place.
My son works for an Aftermarket & Performance European Supplier, sending it to them to develop an improved Connection Block to make available for us.
Why Porsche decided to make it out of billet aluminum is beyond me. It should at least be brass or brass alloy.

I have been able to locate new ones via Porsche Dealerships.

Jon is a true enthusiast, and takes care of his fellow 986ers with fair prices. He's not a gouger.
