Coilovers

Hi I’ve fitted some coilovers to my 986 3.2s
Can I ask what length spring others are running. I’m currently running 6” springs but even with the car set at standard height I only have an inch of travel before it’s on the bump stop.
I want to lower the car and have Air cups fitted to raise it over speed bumps etc
I can slide the shock body down inside the arms another 1” to give me more travel in the shocks but just wondered what length of spring most of you run

I just installed ohlins coilovers, and the spring was 200mm (7.87").
What brand coilover did you install?

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but this is what I have in my notes for the Boxster Spec springs which mount on PSS9's. They are also a 6" spring.

ID: 70mm (2.76")
Length: 152mm (6")
Usable Stroke: 98m / 4 inch
Max Stroke: 103.2mm / 4.06inch
Max Load: 825kgf / 1820lbs

Swift spring part numbers:
450LB: Z70-152-080 (448LB)
500LB: Z70-152-090 (504LB)

Hi it’s helpful as in I know the 6’ springs I’m running is within the general size some people are running.

What are the spring rates on your Ohlins?

Found the post where you have 450/500

Thanks Bart
