Wheel hop

I have a 2000 Boxster S. Whenever I break traction I get severe wheel hop. Doesn’t mater if it’s wet or dry. Anyone found a solution to this?

Stock suspension? Fresh struts will help but independent rear suspension that works great in the corners is more likely to wheel hop in a straight line standing start.

How many miles on the car?

My guess is your car probably needs a suspension refresh. All of those 18 yr old rubber bushings can be a bit sloppy under full power.

My 2001 has done this since new.
