How did you resolve this issue?

Not had a chance to work on it yet. Wife had bilateral hip replacements Friday and have spent most of my time at the hospital.

Hope the recovery is quick, but I suspect not only your car but also your wife will be in limp mode for 4 to 6 weeks.

Ba dump bump. Well said, but so far so good. Thx

Update. I replaced the throttle body and changed out the pedal potentiometer with one from a parts car. Will have a chance to test on track this Saturday.

Did you do the relearning procedure?

Basically without touching the gas pedal, turn the ignition to run (do not start) and listen for the throttle motor to run. (about a minute or less) Then turn the ignition off for at least 30 seconds then back on.

Problem did not re appear at the track Saturday. 4 sessions and it ran to checker on all 4. Not sure which component was bad, the pedal potentiometer or the throttle body, but it's cured

Still cured?
