What not to do at WGI in October

I can't say how many laps I've run at Watkins Glen and the number of different types of conditions. In my last DE I had one of those "OH ********************" moments no one wants to have. I was on my 3rd lap first run for the morning session Solo+ run group outside temp was 38 to 40 degrees. Through the sunny areas the tires were holding and I had started to run a more serious lap. From previous sector time it would have been a sub 2:20 lap.

Minor damage to my bumper cover. But i wrecked a set of tires with cross gravel cut. and broke a driver rear taillight lens.

Nice job keeping it out of the Armco - could have been much worse than some scrapes. Glad that you are ok!
