Anyone in need of a new LSD?

Hey there everyone,

I know that there are people in the process of constantly trying to make their cars better and better. One of the best additions that can be made to these cars is the addition of a good limited slip differential.

There are certainly a couple of very good options. I can offer a great deal on a new OS Giken if anyone is interested. These differentials have both a fantastic operation, but more importantly they have a very long life. They do not require rebuilding, as some of the other options will from time to time.

If you have any questions please PM and I will get right back with you. Or simply give me a call. Currently there are 5 of these in stock, and I am sure you will be very happy with the end result.

Best Regards, and happy driving.

Yes, what are you asking for the LSD?

Sassmatt72 11-27-2015 09:15 AM

Yes. How much, please?

Rbrown, I think lsd is not allowed in spec but don't quote me on that.

I thought LSD was made illegal in the '60s.

That is correct. Oh, how I wish they were allowed!

What are the tangible benefits of LSD?
(Pardon the likely silly question, still have a few things to learn )

My understanding is that with a regular diff a spinning wheel on the axle will rob power from the side with traction?

If I'm thinking correctly a LSD will ensure that the wheel with traction gets an equal amount of power regardless of whether theres traction or not?

I assume the Diff is inside the Boxster transmission, so how/where is such a device added?

Big thumbs up for Erik - bought an OS Giken from him for my old S4 track car. Top notch guy and top notch product.
