Buttonwillow PCA Club Race and Time Trial pics
This was our final driving event of the season. We had perfect weather and a good turnout. A lotta Boxsters. Find several pics of Mr. Brad Roberts- Boxster Race support extraordinaire in here.
As for the TT event, I managed to squeak a win by 2/10ths to tie my brother for Zone 8 CC05 Championship points. A good weekend. https://plus.google.com/photos/105776011673223522600/albums/6082627312172176529?banner=pwa |
Congrats on your result. :)
It's great reading posts like this, rather than the standard "I just waxed my Boxster" or "I de-ambered my headlights today" posts. Just sayin'..... TO |
Very cool! I love to see pics like this.

Thanks for the props guys. It was a great event and though I am a lousy photog, Dr. Greg always does a good job of documenting the action. Looking forward to a little refresh on the car for the 2015 season with designs on another Z8 TT championship. We shall see...

Congrats on the win and thanks for sharing those pics!

Congrat's to you and your brother!

Thanks guys.
We now have a nail biter. There is currently no series tie-breaker language in our rules so I am not sure what "tied in points" really means. My brother had more 1st place finishes this year, I had 1 more event and won the season finale. Still waiting for a ruling on this. I suspect we will either have dual 1st place or they will craft a tie-breaker from other racing organizations. If they follow F1 rules I will be relegated to First Loser. :( It was a fun season with good competition so the shiny trophy is less important. Tied for 1st place sounds better to me though. :D |
Thanks for the report and the multiple pics.
I was supposed to work that race (as a PCA Scrutineer) but got cancelled because of lower turnout than expected. I can see that somebody had to talk with the Chief Steward ;) I might make the first Club Race at Buttonwillow next year. Hope to see a bunch of Spec Boxsters at the first Club Race of the year: Sebring. Happy Boxstering, Pedro |
