Wheel bearing track life?

I am replacing my rear wheel bearings due to wear (loud cyclical humming noise when loaded in a corner) after about 50 track days + 5K freeway miles to/from the track. Oh, this also probably included putting two wheels off into the dirt a handful of times.

Is this typical track wheel bearing life expectency? Anyone else care to share their experience with wheel bearings and track days?

I just replaced mine as well. About 24 track days and 69K on the chassis. Mine had noticeable play.

I've heard replacement at around 60K is not unusual for street cars.

On the RR Tom? I expect to do wheel bearings once a year with a customer running 12 race events.

Yes, just switched over to the RR and I am hearing that two years for a wheel bearing while racing is actually quite long life!

I'll add wheel bearings to the consumables list ...
