throttle pedal mod

I need to lengthen the throttle rod on my non-egas pedal. Does anyone know of an adjustable unit for the stock pedal?

This is probably overkill for your needs, but Rennline makes an adjustable pedal unit: Pedals - Fully Adjustable-Rennline, Inc.

If you pass on a (hand/scanned) drawing with the dimensions (in mm please!) of the shaft I can quickly make a 3D model for you.

You could then take these *.IGS & PDF Drawing files to any local machinist shop and get it machined in stainless steel for a few bucks/same day service.

Yeah, I saw that. It looks awesome, but total overkill for me.

That would be great. I'll get you the info this weekend. Thanks!

If the pedal is simply too low, Rennline also offers an affordable pedal height adjustor. I have this in my car to raise the accelerator so its more level with the brake pedal to ease heel and toe shifting.

I think that's more for the pedal height adjustment vs. throw adjustment like their race pedals have.

I had this problem too. Way too hard to heel-toe with stock pedals with the height difference.

I bought the Porsche replicas from EBay. They work just the same.
I added spacers between the actual gas pedal and where I attached the new racing pedal. Now there is no height difference. Blipping the throttle with my heel is way easy now.

Oh, the rod of my stock pedal isn't long enough to open the throttle body 100% on my swap. Not that I want to push the pedal out for better heel-toe.

Hey Crono,

What did you use for spaces for the Gas pedal? I am planning on upgrading pedals and addressing the short gas pedal in the future.
