You have to loosen the radiator assembly and pull it away from the tub a little (out of the inboard mounting receiver)

No need to undo the water lines!

Make sure you secure the fan wiring!

Street GT3 fender liners are about $400 total for both sides/all four pieces

Porsche knew what they were doing by guiding the air out of the fenderwells!!

I find it easier to remove the support bracket.. (2 M8x1.25 bolts and 1 M8 nut)

Cool. Thank you buddy - the fans will be removed before the first race :)

Leave the clips off the end of the radiators. Let them float in the rubber grommets.

EVERY SINGLE broken radiator from a "track kiss" or "track off" has broken the radiators at one of the 3 nipples that it rides on (they are plastic) Let the radiator's float in the rubber grommets and they will flex during their stress test :)

Thank you for the tip...

And I am very grateful for all the hints and advice you have shared - now all I have to do is convince you to arrive a week before the first race and stay in Finland until the season is over :D

Ha!!

Find a GT3Cup team or RSR team that needs some help :) and make sure their weekends don't overlap your weekends!!

Buddy, this is Finland - There is no Boxster Spec, There is no RSR cars, and there are so few Cup cars that they have problems even running the Carrera Cup over here. The Cup cars race the same time as we race :)

Brad Roberts 02-10-2012 12:02 PM

I'm betting this years Sebring Porsche Club event had at least 40 Cup cars attending the event if not more.

Porsche isn't joking when they say 80% of their sales occur in the US.

I think car tax is one of the reasons why we have such a small number of Porsche cars here in Finland. But we do have some, and those that do make up a really nice Porsche Club. And the Porsche Sports Cup over here is really nice group of people...

Additionally, I am not originally from Finland and speak (at the moment) about 10 words in Finnish - that would make it hard for me to help the professional teams ;)
