Inside door releases / Spec Boxster

I have gutted my doors and am ready to make the aluminum skins for the inside. What is done concerning the door releases, is an inside release necessary or do you just reach outside and open the door. Bill, Pgh, PA

You can fashion a nylon strap like the BOXSTER Spyder has.
