Spoiler ocker switch

Hi have just purchased a boxster 3.2S and I have noticed on my dash a warning light refering to the speed activated spoiler. In several threads I have seen reference to a switch for manual operation could anyone tell me where this switch is please.

Many many thanks

The warning light always goes on at start up and shuts off a couple of seconds later. The swith is on the drivers side kick panel

Since the spoiler is set to deploy at 70mph, the sensor needs to know what speed the car is going. As the car is sitting still the sensor has no reading of speed. Not until you reach about 5 mph does it calibrate itself, turn off, and wait for 70 mph.

My spoiler gets stuck (so I pulled the fuse to stop it going up on an angle and getting stuck!)

Anyone have a DIY for removing and inspecting the spoiler?

Sam
