Wayne, the guy that owns/runs Pelican Parts, picked up a Boxster a while back for about $7k with a blown engine... got a new 996 engine (I think it was a 3.6) for about $7k. He hasn't done the swap last time I asked... but $14k for a Boxster that will OWN like that?? NICE!!

7K I thought the 3.6L was twice that ? Are the prices coming down that much ?

This one also poped up on You Tube. Flat out top speed in Europe somewhere. From what I can tell by the dash looks like a 986 car with black guages which would tell me this is not an S. Maybe the European cars are different however.
