Porsche 996 & Boxster Seat Back Kit
 

I bought newer seats about three months ago from a crashed 2002 boxster . I wanted to get the sports seats but they were crazy money and made no sense to spending 2,500-3k them. Instead i spent 600 on the newer seats and then 530 on these backs. The painting of these are going to cost me 150 so i am still saving a ton plus it more custom. I wanted to know if anyone did this mod? Any if they liked it.

yea ebay.. i have no pics of the item expect from the auction... This is what they look like and the same color i am getting them painted.. porsche986spyder.. yea i got them for 530 unpainted but he says he only had 2 left...

You got a great deal then. On his web site it says $649.00 unpainted. How did you get yours so cheap? Was the auction price starting that low on e-bay? I think they look great! I little expensive but a nice alternative for more expensive race seats wich don't allow you to keep the electric adjustments on the side if you switch them out for some aftermarket seats. :cheers:

umm.. i actually e-mailed the guy wanted it for 500 but he told me that he could do it for 530.. not on ebay but off.. He said there are too many fees when he sells stuff off of ebay . i will have them sometime next week get them painted and put them on... I got alot of stuff to do to be honest on my car but with 2 kids and a wife there is no time. I will have one good day to drive this weekend it's going to be 50 degrees so i might drvie and do some mods and updates.
