I prefer to do work myself but in San Jose, CA I have found that if you are looking for bang for your buck you go to the dealership. I have been pricing out the indys for trans, oil and brake service and none of them came close to the price at Stevens Creek Porsche. It's 280 to 350 for an oil change on a 2000 Boxster BASE at 3 of the top indys and you don't even get a loaner car. Whereas at the dealership is about $200 with my PCA discount and you get a Porsche loaner car for the day!

I have never seen this before with other brands and is a bit odd. I blame the rising costs of real estate...

No, I DO NOT work for the dealership.

Looking for Porsche Specialist/Mechanic

Looking for a mechanic in the Staten Island, NY area my check engine light came on. 2002 base 2.7l w/48,000 miles - running fine.
