what if I do away with the ?

I have a new front bumper and was wondering what happens sence the plasic snorkel that goes from the front grills to the rads is taken off will it do any thing bad? :dance:

i believe its there to direct the air to the radiators, so if you take it off the air wont be directed there and go all over the place and not mainly to them.
its there to maximize the air flow
