What questions do I need to ask?

I am not the most mechancially inclinded person......that being said. I took my 2000S in for the yearly oil change/check-up at the dealership today, and asked a few questions regarding some small amounts of oil I saw the last time I had the engine cover off. I have about a week left on my extended warranty so I wanted to make sure everything was ok. Well....just got a phone call that my cam housings are leaking and the right bank cylinder head gasket is leaking.....never will a $100 deductable check feel so good to write...however what should I be asking? Is this a sign of potential other problems? Just curious, any advice would be appreciated.

The cam cover leak happened to me - fixed under warranty @ 44K miles.
The head gasket you will have repaired by the dealer (Porsche I assume) will have a 2 year warranty. If the dealer checked everything out you should be fine for a long time.
