Rear Diffusers

I am thinking about going with these and have used the search and read the threads.

Can anyone give me some direction of where to get them? Is this about the price and what I'm looking for?

Thanks!

I just purchased a strut brace from Maxspeed Motorsports, $179 for carbon fiber. Cheapest I could find. Same guys that sell the difuser your looking at. Delivery was quick and the brace was in excellent condition, but it doesn't fit. I'm exchanging emails with them now to figure out what's wrong.

I guess my point is they're responsive and did have the cheapest price. I'm hoping I didn't get what I paid for.

Depending on how my current fit problems turns out, I plan on buying the difuser you're looking at from these guys.

There used to be a carbon fiber diffuser on ebay, now I can't find it. I think the price was $379 or something like that. I've heard of fiberglass pieces such as the side skirts and rear diffuser cracking, any truth to this? If that's the case the carbon fiber one's would be the better buy as carbon fiber is alot stronger than fiberglass.

I have seen a number of Boxsters here with them, hopefully they can share where they got them. I don't want to make a quality mistake.

ok ...ok.... I bought a pair of those!

Now if I would do it again.... nope!

Bought them from the same folks, and they shipped fast and what they said they would, no issues there.... But they are what they are "Fiberglass"

I have had mine on for almost a month and they have gone down hill quite fast, first with installing them you need to make sure they fit flush on your bumper (which they do not) then of course paint and mount, which is a pain to reach the nut.

Then after installing and driving around (during winter and salt/dirt on the road) they have gotten pitted & chipped. And sort of look like crap. If I had to do it over I think I would go another route (Polyurethane)

Oh and make sure to not tighten the bolts (fiberglass cracks real easy )

Did you buy the front or rear strut brace? There are 2 you know. Could be you are mixing the 2 up or they did not specify which one they are selling. I to have ordered some stuff from them before with no problems. I have the carbon fiber diffusers on my car which I ordered from them. Pain in the as to get them on without removing the bumper. But I got them on.

It's the front strut brace. Tried to insall them just like the picture on their web site and others, but there is no way it's going to fit.

Is it possible they sent you the rear by mistake?

Other possible rear ends....

You could always buy the type "S" rear bumper which looks like it comes molded with the diffusers onto it. Or you could try these other ones. I like these better personally. I'm not sure about the cost.
