Bbs Rs Gt? Wht Do You Guys Think?

So I replaced my tyres today (on my 17s) and put on a set of Micheling Pilot Alpin PA2 for winter.

My Pirelli P Zero rossos are still in pretty good nick, however,

I am thinking of putting on some 19inch BBS RS GT rims painted in seal grey to match the car with a new set of tyres. Part of the process would be to put new springs on the car and lower about 1.5 cm.

This is a sample picture I found. Not sure if they are 18's or 19's but just an example of the rims I like.

What do you think? Any other options anyone can reconmend? I have 3 months before the weather warms up. But I do like the BBS rims on the BOX.

I have about 3000euro to spend.

Cheers,

Steven.

I think they look great the way they are, BUT you never know if painting them will or wont look better until you do paint them. Maybe you can employ Dj's skills into photoshoping them into seal grey before you take the plung.

If i were you, I would leave the rims original finish as is, and paint the calipers Yellow. I think Yellow calipers and those rims with that body color would look mighty fine!... Carrera GT..esk.

Could be wrong but looks like they're 18".

I had 19' bbs rs gt's on my EVO, my box and now my 997.

Best wheel in the world.

smagerstein 01-24-2007 08:22 AM

I suppose that means you do like them then.

How much do those wheels retail for?

Champion motorsports makes a very similar wheel that I like.

Hi,

FYI - Lowering the car with just a spring swap will increase the negative camber. It won't have so much an effect on the handling (albeit some) as it will on increasing the car's tire-eating abilities - could cost you several thousand miles of tread depth over the same period...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

Fair enough.. Im lowering it just for looks. car only will do maybe 5000miles per year on summer tires so not too worried about tire wear.

The BBS rims in 18's with ,

TYRES: MICHELIN PILOT SPORT RIB

SIZE: FRONT 225/40ZR18 N1

REAR 265/35ZR18 N1

Are going to cost me 3100 euro
