Q: How do you get a picture Avatar?

I think you have two options :

1. An Avatar ( posted to the left of your screen name ) needs to be sent to rkwei or Brucelee for approval before it will be added. This feature is disabled to the user.

2. You can add a picture to your signature. Host your photo on a site such as photobucket.com ( free ! ) and you will be provided with an IMG tag. You can then copy this to your signature and viola - your picture is added to your signature ( please size picture appropriately ).

I think you have to have at least 200 posts too... but I'm not certain on the actual number. I guess they don't want every newbie forum member pestering them for a pic inclusion.

I wonder when I'll have enough posts ...

lol..I have the same problem. I was encouraged to add one to my sig. My modesty is, well, I have no reason to fill up a whole page with my sig. Haven't figured out how to make the avatar work since mine too, is disabled.
