'91 911C2 rims to '02 Boxster S
 

I've recently sold my '91 C2, I had the OEM wheels put back when I sold it. I couldn't depart with the nice set of rims that I had just bought for the 911 about 6 months ago. I'm just wondering if I can swap just the rims from the 911 to the Box. Here's the tire sizes.

1991 911 C2 - front 205/ZR50-17, rear 255/ZR40-17

2002 Boxster S - front 225/40ZR18, rear 265/35ZR18

Hi,

You most likely can use them, but you'll need to know the offsets before you'll know for sure. The Boxster wheels offsets are 52mm (front), 50mm (rear). In order to achieve this, a spacer may be necessary. Hope this helps...

MN is right. You need to know the offsets. However the offset's don't need to be exactly the same as OEM. If you are only using a 205 front and 255 in the rear, you could get away with probably as low as 40 on the offset. If the offset is a lot higher than stock, you could use spacers.
