After 3 wks. ownership

Well it is just over three weeks that we have possesed this little gem. '02 2.7 Tip Graphite Grey interior. Here are some pics of minor mods I have done so far. Headlights this spring and bumperettes when it gets a little colder and less time to drive. Had the little bugger up to 92 this afternoon and it howls at that speed. Solid as a rock and stops on a dime.....omigodwhathaveibought........ YES. Party on!

Sweet car.......

Did you but from dealer? Wondering what you paid. I bought m 2002 in May of this year....Piad 31K at dealer with warranty

Interesting that you are in CT. We bought ours from Danbury Porsche, Certified with 2yr warranty, just under 35k for $24,800. It had some issues on the front bumper which was re-done by the dealer. Bear in mind we bought ours in Dec. not in May, the height of the convertible buying season.

That's hilarious! I bought my at Danbury Porsche as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're right; I bought mine right before summer, the worst of timing. Sounds like yours had about 10,000 miles more on it as well. Nevertheless, I think I overpaid a bit. Who cares though, I love my car :D

By the way, I had some options like:

17" wheels
Sport Package

My options were, Tip, Sport pkg. 17" wheels. Who was your salesman? M. Tracey was ours. We wish we had gotten ours earlier because we feel we cannot regain the time lost not driving one so you may have paid more but it paid you back in a summer of smiles. Party on!

Hi Again:

Happy New Year.

You're right about getting the car when I did; i really enjoyed last summer and fall, so an extra 2 grand or so is allot easier to stomach.

Here's a pic:

LOL.....yep, it's a yellow cover I put on my steering wheel.....yellow shift boot too.... :)
I luv a yellow sports car, but any color Boxster is a fine car.....Happy New Year

Hi:

The wheel from a company called Wheelskins. They have a web site and eay way to order online....many colors.

The boot I obtained elsewhere.....would have to look up the information.....

I think that gives the car a little aftermarket, non-oem look. I would lose the yellow leather wheel cover, put the stock shift knob/boot back and instead, install some speed yellow painted pieces like this center console. This one simple change will set off your interior, and yet still look very oem and classy, imo.
