Help on wheel

Hello,

Been a long time since I post. Hope you all enjoying the holidays :)

I have these tires:
For front: Michelin PS2 225/40R18
For back: Michelin PS2 255/35R18

And for the wheel:
For front: 18'' Techart Formula 8.5j Silver
For back: 18'' Teachart Formula 10.5j Silver

The problem I have is that the back wheel is sticking out about half an inch from the back fender. What size/spec of the wheel that can fit into the boxs without the wheel sticking out from the back fender?

Currently it only sticks out about half an inch out from fender and due to the inspection rules in Japan I have to change this or the car won't pass the inspection test.

My car is 2004 Boxster S.

Any help is much appreciated.

y not borrow some wheels for the inspection and go bak to your old ways?

I switched and am using the factory wheels atm. I can't really put the techart wheels back because it's against the rules and I don't want to risk paying any fines.

So....any sponsor here that can sell me rear Techart wheels that fit within the fender and ship it to me? :)

try www.cecwheels.com.. they are the makers of antera, azev, ac schnitzer, brabus, cec wheels,oettinger,techart,novitec... I would say that is a sure bet for the info

so i take it its not an assigned inspection but rather a random one?

Agh, looks like Tech Art doesn't have any other size for the rear wheels other than the 10.5 one. Looks like I will need to find a place that can modify or cut the wheel...not sure if it's possible though :(

Btw, it's both. Assigned inspection every 2 years, and random inspection from the cops' eyes.

Thanks again for the help.
