Smitty2001 Registered User Join Date: Jul 2021 Location: Vancouver, BC Canada Posts: 2	986 A/C Fan Operation HELP!! I need a clarification. Both A/C cooling fans don't work at low or high speed. The 2 fuses and the 4 relays are in working order after testing Therefore I believe it is the fan resistors or the fan motors or both. I am planning on changing the resistors with the hack (change the resistors with a new resistor 0.5 ohm/100W). Is the resistor's function to increase the speed of the fan when the engine temp reaches a certain temperature? If this is true, will the fans work at low temp even with a bad resistor?
