In your update, you said you DIY mount stops might have contributed to vibrations due to the thickness.

Your posts list your car as: 2000 base.
You list part # to be: 9A137525701 - $31.89 each On FCP Euro site, however, that part number shows compatibility with only 2005+ boxster
The part number that come up for my car (2001 986S) is 98637525501 which is a lot thinner, and cost $14.19 ea.
Is there a reason why you did the comparison with the newer part number?

I intend to just buy them, so trying to find out if I should go with the newer design or the correct older design.
