Spoiler identification and fitment advice
 

One of the rattles to fix on my car is the rear spoiler. So I have a larger spoiler on the rear boot lid and there is a little spoiler lip where the normal retractable spoiler would be.

Problem is that it is not really mounted well, it flaps forwards / backwards on the spoiler posts. I have never been able to operate this spoiler, so guess it is broken or disconnected.

I think in the end I would like to remove the whole mechanism and just have the OEM strip in place to cover the hole. For now, probably best to just get this thing mounted without moving.

Two pictures attached. Any idea which spoiler this is? Any mounting advice or instructions?

I took some carpets out of the trunk last week and can confirm that the mechanism is broken. So I guess I am either looking at getting a replacement mechanism with the correct color strip or see whether I can get my hands on a aerokit trunk lid. As far as I have seen that would remove the whole assembly and just fit a slightly longer lid to cover that area. Nice and tidy.

Other options?
