Airbag disable
 

What is a good price for the airbag disable device? I s this only available from the dealer?

I checked around with local mechanics that had the tools to do it, but found that they would have to pay for the parts ($357.24) plus the labor... Going to the dealer, I won't be charged the labor so its a lot cheaper... Also the local mechanics could disable it but didn't have the correct codes to turn on the indicator light, etc. so it was not a complete install as far as I was concerned... I have mine scheduled for install at our Portland dealer this next Friday

Why would anyone want to disable their airbags?

In my case its for the child booster seat...
