2003 Boxster roadster trim question

1 Attachment(s)
I have an 03 roadster that is missing the trim piece that runs along the lip of the clamshell. It is a 3-piece molding that starts just after the doors (3" piece for each read fender & the long piece that lips the clamshell right at the convertible top recess.

New to Porsche and have no idea how to search for this part. It's black. Any help or resource greatly appreciated.

Thanks

For the current parts catalog you can navigate from the 'Porsche Classic' page to the 986 parts section, then view or download it. https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/classic/

Here's a look at that section of the catalog.

I recently scrapped a black 2004 and can probably find what you need if you want used parts. I'm terribly disorganized, but am working on clearing out the junk from my garage over the next week. If you're interested, I can find the parts and figure out a shipped price.

I just replied to your message, do you need Both parts #14 and #16 in the diagram or just one of them? Typically #16 will be missing and #14 still riveted on.

So someone had contacted me to sell these parts to me (user name prillayo03). I was told to email someone else who in turn wanted me to Zelle them money. They would not call or send parts pictures. This is a scammer- please be careful.

This is the email response from emonpar88@gmail.com (the supposed parts holder):

What do you mean
Didn’t you see I’m an old and honest seller with good sells review
You just join the forum why will you say such
U know what never mind
Buy some where else

That happens a lot on the forum now. Typically just the way you said. A message to reply to a Gmail account and either no pics or pics grabbed from somewhere else. I don't know if you received my text, but I did send pics of what I have and that shipping will be about $74 with UPS Ground (almost $125 with FedEx) due to the 60" length of the rear trim piece. If the parts you ordered from Porsche have reasonable shipping costs, you should probably stick with it.
