Another todays mod thread

Heres what I did today, took me about 2.5 hours. I didnt drive it yet but they look pretty cool. I have a feeling I will be tightening the screws again. I have the allen wrench and and extra screw and nut in the center counsel just in case.

very cool. Was the labor intense part the drilling of the holes, or did you have to drill any?

ohioboxster 12-17-2006 09:31 AM

Well gas pedal took about 2 minutes and yes I had to drill holes. I couldnt fit under there to get the dang nuts started on the brake and clutch pedals. Most of the time was spent cussing. It wasnt hard just in a hard spot to get to. I really need to teach my wife how to use a drill.

haha! I have those too, and yes virginia drilling the holes was a BIATCH!

I have had en on for a good 6 months and havent had to tighten the screws yet.
They make heel-toeing easier. But I am still learning how to do that properly.

looks awesome.....I can't do it to mine tho....I don't want to deal with the drilling....sucks..

Its really not that bad, I pre-drilled the rubber pieces off the pedals and used them as a template. They are really straight. I took it for a drive and they feel nice but Im not exactly a heel toe driver. I just thought they looked cool but thanks.

On another note. I found out today that my seat will raise about 3-4 inches not that I need it but never knew about it.
