Shifter Cable Clip
Can someone help me find the part # for this clip?
Thanks, E- http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02/Clip1718139726.jpg |
Looking at the part diagrams it doesn't list that as a separate part, from what I can see:

Interesting...the instructions I saw said to always replace the clips with new ones, since they're "cheap and easy to find". Well, I've been unable to find them. :)
Maybe I'll be able to reuse the once that I remove. Just figured I'd put new ones on, if I could. Thanks for your help. |
I imagine the reason to replace would be if they loosen over time, I wouldn't worry about steel retaining clips on a plastic assembly being damaged or fatigued.
If they're a bit loose, I'd just gently tighten them with pliers. I've done that with spark plug leads and other similar stamped bits that need to be tight before, with great success. |
Thanks, S50Sinner

Turns out the design on my car was slightly different. It didn't have the metal clips.
