Boxster w/ Turbo Wheels?

Does anyone have a photo of a 987 Boxster with some of those 997 Turbo Wheels on? I wonder how the polished aluminum looks...

The 997 turbo wheels are way to wide to fit a boxster.

Ya, I admit, they are super sweet rims, but they wouldnt fit. Maybe you could run 4 front wheels all the way around, but thats only a quess. If its running 305's on the rear, theres no way to get it to fit in the wheel well without a wide body conversion.

I thought that was one of the options that they added for '07? Did they make smaller ones for the Boxster? I did a "build my porsche" on their website and the 19" turbo wheel was an option for $3675...? It looks nice on the preview, but I just was wondering if anyone had one photo from real life...

I agree, I like the look. It sounds like it's an option now, they definately changed the width/profile to fit the boxster if that's the case. I would do a search on google to see if there are any pics out there.

Don't forget the twin turbos with VTG addon for the engine. It comes with the wheels, right?

On a related note, I am in love with the 911 Turbo masterwerk video on the porsche website. The car itself seems fantastic, which is a start, but the orchestration theme just works out beautifully for a well-done informercial. Decades from now if I should ever purchase that car, the informercial score will have to be the inaugural music for the first drive.
