GTMotorsports Products

Hey, the wife just bought me a pair of GT2 side skirts and boxster humps from GTMotorsports and they came in this morning.

Quality looks good, but the side skirts have some seams on both ends that will have to be sanded down before they're painted. I have not installed the humps to see if they fit, but they appear to be well made also.

Since this is a Christmas present and I was only allowed to inspect them for damage and return the to their boxes, I won't be able to post pics of them until after the holidays.

I tell you what though... their prices are great! Half the price of what I found elsewhere and on fleaBay.

Do the humps install like factory or strap on to roll bars?

I see straps, so I guess they are like the other aftermarket kind and not the factory kind.

take them to the body shop for a quick test fit and see what they will charge you to sand prime and paint and install bla bla before any return policy kicks in.
If its allot of work to shape/sand it could nullify your saving vs. going factory.

Their website is down to a single "coming soon" page, but here it is:

www.gtmotorsport.net

My wife called from an ad in Excellence. The skirts were something like $350 and the humps were $395 I think. Unpainted fiberglass, of course.

Do you know if they are replicas of the factory aerokit skirts? How much do the OEM ones cost?

Sorry blink, I haven't a clue as to either of your questions. I bought them because I like the look of them.

the factory only makes polyurethane, these are fiberglass.
PU is waaayyy expensive.
and the GT2 and GT3 MK1 and MK2 styles will not fit a 986 or 987.
wonder if its the same group I bough my MK2 GT3 'replicas' from, they
may have expanded and changed their name. (precisionporsche.com)
I paid $430 delivered not a bad fit but about a few mils too long one side.
not too noticeable, had no choice since that style is not available from the factory.

The factory side skirts list for $991.16 (per Suncoast Porsche). I bought mine from them for $683.00 off of eBay. They come with a bag of mounting clips, screws and a couple of other assorted items. Oh, and instructions too.

They don't have any listed right now, but you could call them and I'm sure they'd take good care of you. They have excellent customer service (my experience with them anyway)

I made an ebay offer on GT3 side skirts in fiberglass. I got them for 300 shipped. They should be here this week, but luckily I dont have to wait till they get painted, lol.
