Hi,
I'll take the jab in good fun. Nope the Mature guy you're referring to is a Mechanical Engineer named Tim Engle.
Tim is a good friend and perhaps the most knowledgeable guy on the Lotus Esprit in the Country. Tim and I have restored 4 Esprits together and did 4 total engine and tranny rebuilds. About 90% of what I know about the Esprit I learned from Tim as well as much of what I know about cars in general. We have also produced several custom made parts for the Esprit together, including adjustable rear links which I put to good use in the AutoX in the pic below...

Is Tim from Minnesota also? He had/has a black early/mid 80s Esprit? I"m pretty sure I know him.

Hi,
Yes, Tim lives in Minnesota and has a Black '80 S2, NA Esprit. How do you know him? I've known Tim for about 10 years, through the local Lotus Club. He has worked for NordicTrak, RollerBlades and Tonka Industries as an Engineer. I haven't spoken to him in a while, But I understand he's taken a new job, though I don't know where...

What a strange, small world. I know him from a small company named Lakeside in Minneapolis where he and I worked about 15 years ago.

Hi,
Yes it is a small world. I remember Tim worked at Lakeside too. That's a Toy manufacturing company IIRC...
