2001 Boxster crash. Fixable!

Hello!

I crashed my Boxster 2.7 a few days ago, and I am wondering if it can/should be fixed.

If anyone has an opinion it would be really helpful!

Seriously?!?!........Looks like you wrapped it around a tree or a pole.....it's totaled, so say "bye bye" and get the most $$ you can out of the insurance company.....but it won't be much.....sorry.

But to answer your original question ("can it be fixed?).....YES it can be fixed.....how much do you want to spend out of your pocket?..... $10,000+, $20,000+, $30,000 or maybe more?

Better to take off any parts you want that could be put on a replacement and let it go. If it’s a lot of stuff buy it back as a parts car only. Fixing would be greater than the value once done.

Sorry to see your 2.7 sealgray in that condition.
The frame, the complete front, airbags,...let is rest in peace.

No.

Back 20 years ago I had a front end crash where the car was drive-able but there was deformation back to behind the front door due to flex from the tub. Airbags not even deployed. My eyeball said $4k. Estimate was $27k when they stopped counting and it was worth about $25k at the time. A car this bad they won't even bother with a serious estimate.

So the insurance company will pay you maybe $8k or without insurance you have a parts car.

Always sad to see one go the that end.

Repairing it to stock condition makes no sense with that much damage.

However, there are possibilities: Boxster Kart

Too bad. Sorry to see another one go. Pull off your hood badge, keep it along with the memories and let her go…
