Convertible top closing issues
 

So I’ve had this issue for a while, and just got around to tackling it. My convertible light is sometimes on and sometimes off, seemingly randomly. The main issue, is that when I open and close it, the motor doesn’t know when to stop. So if I’m pressing the switch to close the roof, the motor will continue to spin, even after the clamshell is closed, so I have to let go of the switch to make sure it doesn’t overturn. My first guess what the microswitch, but I’m not sure how to go about it. Is there a way to possible reset the microswitch, or do I just have to drop a new one in? Thanks
