I before E, except after C.

I did stop at that gas station. I remember the details. It was a top tier station... and I thought thprice was very competitive. When the card machine asked to add $.75 for convenience... that pissed me off. Started pumping gas... let it fill... walk to the owner telling him how shady it was to post on the board the low price, only to get hit with his fee.

Returned to the pump... 14 point something gallons. I remember it because we drive so few miles in town I didn't want to be sitting on a bunch of gas. When I got in the car and saw the "near" empty... I figured something was broken in the tank. I then reset the trip odometer so I'd know when it was getting close to refuel.

Haven't checked the trip oometer, yet... but venture it'll read under 40 miles.

$65 tow/$15 tip for the four miles home. No big. $80 for an empty tank, lol.

Going to get some gas later today.

Running out of gas has forced our hand to buy another vehicle. Wife picking up a car from Turo today. That'll get us around for a spell.

Chat soon.

Did nothing to it the past two days. This morning I'll make sure the sending unit properly is positioned (since I looked inside the tank). I've ~2 gallons in a can. Will put that in then getting a couple more gallons. Will jump the pump... see if any fuel pumps into the jar. It does? Then I'll prime it. II expect it to start.

I'll then spend a couple hours buttoning everything else back up.

Will report back...
