CV shafts slinging grease

My rear wheels kept being slung with grease but my CV shaft boots were in a sad, dry rotted state. I just finished putting on new boots and fresh grease yesterday and figured this would be resolved but it’s not for the left side. It’s apparently coming out of the hole in the end of the axle shaft into the hub of the wheel and then being slung out through tiny gaps between the wheel and the hub. My boots seem to be doing their jobs now though. Is this normal?http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1688859463.jpg

in my case if the grease gets really hot it'll run like oil and come out the hub. any chance you've been having rear brake issues ... ?

Actually, I did. I just rebuilt the brakes and that side had one bleeder screw that was leaking for the first couple of drives. It may have caused it to get hotter if that caliper wasn’t retracting normally. That’s been resolved and the rotors are now evenly warm after a drive so I’ll see if maybe it stops slinging grease.

Thanks.
