O2 sensor issue

have a 2004 base Boxster, 130K miles ...

am getting a P0056 HO2S Heater Control Circuit and P0161 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit errors ...

have replaced O2 sensor twice ... no joy ...

could this be a wiring harness issue ?

Thanks

I assume that you have checked the fuse(s)? If you disconnect the sensor, do you see 12V at the connector?

fuse is good ... I'll have my guy check the voltage ... Thanks

Fuse is visually good or actually checks out as good with a meter? Cheap to replace if it hasn’t been.

fuse also handles injector circuit ... car won't run if fuse pulled ... fuse is good ...

Water Temperature Sensor

Had the same problem codes thinking it will go away with new OS, but did not. Had to buy a new Water Temperature Sensor 99660641000. Easy part to replace, first disconnect batt. Water temp sensor its located on the oil pump. Clear codes at the end. Since then had no code issues.
Hope it works for you. Good luck.

What O2 sensors did you use?

This would be the post cat on the drivers side. Is that what you replaced?
