Daytime Running Lights?
Do any US Porches have daytime running lights? If not, why? Apparently the ones in Canada do....

IMO its very stupid, i wanna b able to turn the lights ON or OFF whenever i fell like it :)
just think about any movie that usaw with drivebys at nite, DRLs wouldnt help hehehhe |
Visual clutter (but I must admit there are studies indicating that they reduce accidents).

9X7s can have DRLs turned on in the US by the dealer and I assume some late model 9X6s can as well. I turned them on with my previous 987 but not the current. DRLs on the Box are front/back, not just front like some makes.

on the latest models, you can have DRLs only if you get the preferred package and the sport chrono options. Otherwise, no luck.

I believe they are required by law in Canada.

Day Time Running lights are required by law in Canada. I think the 987/997 models can have the function turned on using the Porsche service tool under the light control module opitions. Older models just require a relay to be installed as I was informed they are all pre-wired.
