Cayman Exhaust Question

Hello guys - I need some advice please. I have a 2007 Cayman S and I want to modify the factory exhaust system - in essence, remove the secondary cats and muffler - leaving the factory headers and primary cat in place. In order to remove the factory muffler, will I have to remove the rear fascia? Thanks.

Yes, you can remove the rear section of the exhaust leaving the rear bumper in place.. at the rear of the gearbox it is a bracket that supports the rear section of the exhaust, by removing this bracket it will allow you to remove the rear section.
