best way to beat heat

i was driving to school the other day, and i had my jacket hanging on the back of the passinger seat. after i parked i went outside, grabbed my bag from the trunk...freezing cold, and i walked to the other side, grabbed the jacket from the back of the seat and WOW that thing was sooooo warm from the engine, and it was the best thing ever. just wanted to share, im sure we all know this but its just another god thing about the box

best way to beat heat

I also notice that there is a significant amount of heat coming from the passagener side air vent (2001 Boxster S), while the driver side is cool. Is this normal?

Garage
The drivers side vent is for engine intake air only, the passenger side has a fan for intake of fresh air for engine compartment ventilation. It cools the engine bay and gets rid of any explosive vapors that build up.
