It depends on how you drive also.....seems to me that you like to take care of your cars (69 912). get a good long warranty and you will be fine. every car has it's problems.

buy it, i love mine. don't know if i'll ever sell it. kinda like the way you drove your 69 bought in 72.....that's amazing....you could do the same in the boxster, the car first introduced in 96, and it still hasn't aged in design.
