Boxster Rally Tool kit
What is in your tool kit? I am talking over and above the one that comes with the car
These cars are getting on and just wondering everyone is carrying. Pullling apart the stock one just recently left me feeling rather unprepared. 1. 19mm deep socket and breaker bar 2. Tire plug kit (ARB?) 3. Compressor and sealant 4. Boost pack 5. Combination wrenches to include: 6. ..... 7.... |
Extra ignition switch and screwdriver to install it.
|
6. American Express card
7. AAA road coverage I'm not flailing away on a broken Boxster on the side of the road. |
Good suggestions...I should reframe this as a kit to get your self out of trouble.
I did not think about the ingnition switch. I do have extra DME relays |
2nd for AAA (or roadside through insurance company)
Otherwise...just a couple hand tools for quick things that AAA wont do or isn't worth the tow. |
AAA premier
200 mile tow !! |
You will want to be packing some extra Premium Fuel.
My List: (1) Some quality Gasoline (2) Matches (3) Insurance Pink Card (4) Donuts (for the First Responders) |

I added my old but functional accessory belt, a 10mm wrench (to remove the front engine cover) and a wrench (forget the size) to release the tension on the belt tensioner. For the really paranoid - an IMS bearing... :p |

Awesome suggestions....not sure how I did not think about the belt, tensioner release and engine cover.
