Frunk opens with fob but not latch

Hi peeps, I presume the solenoid is OK if it opens with the fob, so does that mean the latch itself is faulty? Thanks

Don't know the year of your car but if its older, it could be you cable.

Thanks dghii, it's 2007 so think it probably is the cable. Wasn't sure it had one so will check. Cheers

2007 have an electric release. The last cable release was 2002. My guess is you have a faulty interior release switch since if it works with the fob the actuator and latch are not the problem.

Yup, no cable on 2007's.

I believe it was 2001 actually, my 2001 is electronic, 2000 and prior are cable. But yes, a 2007 would definitely be electronic.
