Soft top weather stripping
Is there a trick to getting the weather stripping into the back channel on the soft top? I'm taking about the rubber seal that goes across the back under the window. It seems very hard to get it to seat into the channel. I was thinking of heating it up in hot water first, then trying to stuff it in there. Any suggestions?

If you are referring to the smaller piece of trim that actually holds the back and top of the sides, I've used a rubber mallet and a small piece of blocking.
The larger weatherstripping just pushes in. You do have to hold your mouth just right... |
If you're talking about the one that attaches the "skirt" along the bottom of the top, mine slid right in when I fixed the rear window recently. You may try some wd40 dry lube if you're having trouble though.
