hockenheim Registered User Join Date: Jun 2017 Location: NorCal Posts: 61	Should I be worried about this sound? 98 2.5 L with about 173,000 miles on the engine. IMS bearing replaced about 25,000 miles ago although the original turned out to be perfect. Cam deviation was measured less than 1000 miles ago plus and -3°. After some hard driving today I noticed this ticking sound coming from the right hand side of the engine which I have not previously noticed.
