items due for service at 112k miles ?

hey Guys,

I like to do some work on my 01' boxster 2.7 with 112kmiles , looking for suggestions - mostly stuff as cleaning injectors and throtlebody, MAf sensor.. replacing belt , and such how about the oil separator ?
not sure about modifications maybe later !

things done already : oil baffle x51 .

thanks ..

change the oil, filter & crush washer. check level of other fluids....then drive the car. If it isn't broken, dont fix it.

My 00S needed a refresh @ 117K

Clutch and suspension, these items fade rather than fail, the difference was amazing, I did drink the cool aid and replaced the IMS bearing as well. This likely unnecessary.

I also replaced the RMS while I was there.

suspension !! how to inspect or verify what needs to be replaced on it ?
I know it rides kind of hard ..
I think I m going to hold off on the IMS and clutch as long it feels good or no unussual nosie .

If it leaks, it needs to be replaced

for suspension, steved0x put together a list. i used it to refresh my suspension. It is very helpful which you can tailor to your budget.

Don’t wait until leakage…. I did and regretted why I did not put new shocks a lot sooner as handling difference was night and day.

my take

When I replaced my suspension, my rule of thumb was; if it involves any rubber at all, replace it.

While my takeoffs felt ok (with no point of reference), the new ones were night and day.

A significant expense, however I have had the car for 17 years and have no plans on selling her.

Parts went ~$3500, it took a fair amount of time.

If you have the budget and time, do it.

appreciate it ALL.
I have been busy working on my Q5 supercharger .. just got done with the work all worked out good.
I will be looking underneath to inspect see what it looks like will post what it looks like

if the suspension looks Ok i might be looking at the IMS update kit and other components there .. I m thinking like to keep the car as long as I can .

hate to risk it !

I think I have made a decision on what DO and what NOT to DO for now:

replacing part:
oils separator, serpentine belt , fuel filter , cleaning throtlebody , cleaning o2 sensors
AND NEW rear and front struts and shocks - plan to get everything form Rock auto
inspected suspension surprisingly control arms seem OK

NOT doing right now:

clutch plate , IMS bearing car has 112 k miles there is no noise or signs of any issues there .. also heard from burners cars dude and other professional mechanics if it did NOT break below 100k miles , chances are it wont IMS failure maybe OVERSTATED !

that is my take on it .. your thoughts wellcome
