do you guys get the stares
while driving you box?
i dont know if its the color of the car, the fact that its a porsche, or just peoples curiosity, but its constant stares at the car, trying to race me, people turning and still looking back at me/car, and other obvious things today i spent like 3 hours claybaring, polishing, and waxing the car, and i had a couple take a picture of the car at the light. does everyone lelse experience the same thing? |
Yep, especially with the top down. It's because it's a Porsche. The look of a P-car is so distinguishable most people know what it is so they can't help but stare.

oh yeah :) and did you get painted center caps becuase the wheels are looking good.

handpainted by my GF, hw cool is that?
i actually did a lot over the weekend, clay, polish, wax, detail interior, clean wheels, painted centercaps, caliper decals, silver 996 lugnuts (mine were looking rusted and locking key broke), and put on my spoiler decal( http://i15.tinypic.com/2llk5qu.jpg ) |
For you, it might be more color than any thing else. Its a very unique color. Never seen another Porsche with that color. Only KIAs .. no offense intended. I know I would slow down to get a good look.

Funny you should mention this. Yesterday I drove and caught a hot mom with her son crossing my path at an intersection. I saw mom's mouth (reading her lips) clearly say to her son "Look there's a Porsche." Son looks at me and googles. Another cool scenario is waiting to turn left at a traffic light. YOu see a lot of stares then as well. Kind of a cool feeling every now and then. |
Dude, it has got nothing to do with the car. I'm just a good looking chap.
|
i know definitely it's not the car they are staring at...it's the 215lbs filipino guy driving it while listening to M.C.R's black parade...ahahahahahaha!
