Continental Radio Upgrade Question
 

Greetings!

I see that you can essentially "plug-and-play" the Continental 74XX series radio in place of the CDR-210 with the appropriate harness, but I have a question about the BlueTooth.

I don't want to use the phone connection, so if I don't hook up the microphone, will the radio still answer incoming calls via BlueTooth when I'm connected? Can that be disabled?

Mine does fine without the external microphone. Answers call via bluetooth and I have asked callers about the call quality and no complaints. Not sure what you mean by disable. You mean permanently or when a call comes in?

Thanks, I wasn't aware it would work without the external microphone. I was going to see if I could completely disable the feature, but that doesn't seem to be necessary.
